Grants for New Energy Jobs Fund

Do you have a project in mind that could create long-term sustainable jobs, increase the uptake of renewable energy generation, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and drive innovation in new energy technologies?.

If so, you may be eligible for grant funding through the Victorian Government’s $20 million New Energy Jobs Fund. Up to $5 million is available for round one which is now open and closes on 16 March 2016.

Victoria’s Automotive Transition Plan

The Victorian Government has announced the $46.5 million Automotive Transition Plan to help businesses, workers and communities affected by the closure of automotive manufacturing operations.

Under the plan, the following programs were launched and are open for business:

Local Industry Fund for Transition (LIFT)

  • Grants are available to support projects worth over $200,000 that create sustainable jobs and economic activity in each of the regions.

Automotive Supply Chain Transition Program (ASCTP)

  • Provides expertise to assist with the identification, design and implementation of strategies to transition into new sectors and markets.
  • Receive up to $15,000 to develop a Business Transition Plan and up to $50,000 to implement transition activities.

Healthy Together Whittlesea are set to expand the popular PT in the Park Program for 2016 and are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and insured yoga, Pilates, tai chi and cardio boxing (or self-defence) instructors to support new programs.
