Bundoora Square is a very friendly and well presented shopping centre in the North East of Melbourne approximately 15km from the Melbourne central business district. It lies on the boundary between the cities of Banyule, Darebin and Whittlesea. At the 2006 Census, Bundoora had a population of 24,018. Bundoora is situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people.

The centre is close to the headquarters of La Trobe University and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Students enjoy our centre regularly, particularily at lunchtime..

Bundoora Square is not far from Mount Cooper which is the highest point in metropolitan Melbourne. Mount Cooper is located within Bundoora Park, a large (180 ha) public park.

The first Bundoora Post Office opened on October 1, 1863; our Post Office continues to serve our customers. The centre now has close to 100 shops, including a Coles, Safeway, Post Office, medical centres and of course the well-known Psarakos Markets for you to enjoy.
